When Charity Shops rime with Vintage.

Parce que le Dimanche il n'y a pas grand chose a faire dans ma campagne loins là-bas, il m'arrive d'aller vagabonder dans un Emmaus non loins de chez moi. Et il y a quelque temp, j'étais tomber nez à nez avec une caisse pleine de Gaines, Gaines-Jarretelles, et de Porte-Jarretelles vintage, que je n'avaient pas acheté parce qu'après tout j'suis un mec et que je n'en voyait pas trop l'utilité... J'avais alors quand même fait part de ma merveilleuse trouvaille sur un reseau sociel bien connu, et mes amies semblait fort intéressées...

Because there's nothing much to do on a sunday afternoon, in the the far far away countryside town in which I live, I often go to a famous french charity shop, not far from there. Sometimes ago, I found a box full of vintage girdles & Garter Belts, which I didn't buy because I'm a guy and I wouldn't know what to do with it... But I took a picture to show this little treasures to my vintage lovers friends, to show them countryside isn't that bad, and they seemed quite interested!

Et quelle ne fut pas ma surprise quand aujourd'hui, alors que je les pensais disparue, faisant le bonheur d'une jeune (ou moins jeune) femme amoureuse elle aussi de vintage, je les aperçois du coins de l'oeil alors que je farfouillais les foulards!!!

And while I thought they were lost for me, making a vintage loving woman happy, I was quite surprised to see the box from the corner of my eyes, while I was checking headscarves new arrival. My little treasures was still there!!!

Il ne m'en fallait pas plus pour m'y replonger, afin d'inspecter ces petites trouvailles, non sans avoir a affronter les regards reprobateurs des mamies, qui m'ont certainement pris pour un fetichiste des sous-vêtements féminin. Mais qu'importe, elles sont vraiment super jolies... et maintenant elles sont miennes!!!

Without a moment's thought, I dive into that box, to check my precious. Of course I had to ignore the old ladies reproachful gaze, as if I was some sort of Women's undergarment fetichist. But Whatever, they are mine now!!!!

Je pense qu'elles datent toutes des Années 50 ou 60...
