En retard de quelques jours, la Burlesqueuses du Passé, est cette semaine: Flo Ash "The Cutest Little Nudist".

A little Bit Late, but the Burlesqueurs from the past is finally here, and this week it is starring Flo Ash "The Cutest Little Nudist".

 

Je n'ai malheureusement pas trouvé énormément de détail concernant sa carrière. Je sais simplement qu'en 1944, cette dernière c'est produite deux fois par soir pendant 1 semaine au club Holland. Où elle performa notamment un numéros de Fan Dance, avec the "Latin Bariton" Pietro Gentile qui, connu un grand succès dans la pièce de Florenz Ziegfeld: "Whoopee" ainsi que dans des films de la MGM et de Fox Picture. Il se sont marié le 14 Février de cette même année.

I haven't found a lot of information about her carerre. I only know that she performed 2 times a night for one week at the Holland Club. She was famour for her fan dance. There she performed with Pietro Gentile, the "Latin Bariton who once act in a Ziegfeld Play intitled "Whoopee" as well as MGM & FOC Picture movies. They tight the knot on February 1944.

 

Flo Ash, elle aussi aura un role dans le film "Paris After Midnight" avec Tempest Storm, sorti en 1951.

Flo Ash was also an actress, in the 1951 Burlesque fantasy "Paris After Midnigh" starring Tempest Storm.

 

Flo Ash et Pietro Gentile divorce en 1947. Flo reproche a son marie d'être condéscendant vis à vis de sa profession, et bien qu'ils aient tenté de créer un duo pour passé du temps ensemble, mais Pietro aurai mal digéré le fait que sa femme obtienne la tête d'affiche.

Flo Ash & Pietro Gentile got divorce in 1947. Flo told the judge her husband was condescending regarding her profession, et even though they tried to create an duet, Pietro couldn't bear the fact she was getting the Top Billing.
